Professor Doctor Adelino Na Dum is an accomplished academic, researcher, and business consultant with over 20 years of experience in higher education, entrepreneurship, financial risk management, and international business development. He is the Founder and Chairman of Polon Consulting, UK Limited, where he leads strategic business development initiatives and expands the organisation’s network to support its corporate objectives. In this role, he engages with key stakeholders, including the UK Department for Business and Trade and the Greater London Authority, to promote the interests of prospective clients and facilitate business opportunities across the United Kingdom. He is currently a Lecturer in Business Management, Economics, Business Risk, Financial Markets and Financial Mathematics, Accounting and Finance at Apex College, Higher Education, in partnership with The University of Law in the United Kingdom.
Professor Na Dum holds a PhD in Economics and Entrepreneurship with a specialisation in Financial Risk Management. He also earned an MSc in International Banking and Finance from the University of Northampton, United Kingdom, and an MSc in Economics and Business Management. He is currently pursuing a second PhD in Accounting and Finance. His doctoral research focuses on “The Relationship between Firms’ Ownership Structures and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM): A Comparison between the United Kingdom’s Developed Market and African Developing Markets.”
His research interests include enterprise risk management, financial markets, entrepreneurship, economic development, and poverty alleviation. Among his notable publications is “The Leadership of Enterprise Education on Poverty Alleviation and Unemployment in Africa.” In July 2016, he presented his paper as a speaker, “Political Risk Assessment and Management in the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS),” at events hosted by the University of Cambridge and the Oxford Business Forum Africa at the University of Oxford. He has also participated in the conferences organised by the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Professor Na Dum is a member of several distinguished professional bodies, including the Royal Economic Society (RES), UK, the Institute of Risk Management (IRM), UK, and the Order of Economists of Portugal.
Braima Mané is a finance executive, academic, and strategic leader with more than two decades of international experience spanning corporate finance, treasury, investment management, financial risk, and business transformation. Throughout his career, he has combined deep financial expertise with a passion for developing people, organisations, and sustainable long-term value.
Most notably, Braima held several senior leadership positions within IKEA/Ingka Group, where he led global financial planning and analysis, investment portfolio management, treasury and financial risk functions, and major transformation projects. His work included steering multi-billion-euro investment portfolios, designing investment governance frameworks, leading scenario-based strategic planning, and managing global initiatives such as centralised cash management, liquidity optimisation, and financial systems integration. He also played an active role in supporting executive decision-making during periods of significant uncertainty, including the COVID-19 pandemic.
Alongside his corporate career, Braima is committed to advancing knowledge and developing future leaders. He is currently a PhD Candidate and Teaching Assistant at the Louvain School of Management (UCLouvain), where he teaches and mentors students in corporate finance, quantitative methods and behavioural finance. He also serves as Guest Lecturer in Risk Management and Derivatives & Real Options courses at IÉSEG School of Management.

Sabino Bernardo Indem is the Founder and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Polon Consulting UK Limited. In this role, he oversees the company’s daily operations, such as IT, marketing initiatives, event management, social media strategy, and business networking activities.
Before joining the consulting sector, Sabino worked in the security industry, where he developed valuable expertise in assessing, identifying, and implementing effective security measures. His experience in this field has strengthened his analytical and operational capabilities.
Sabino is also the founder of TV Obulum, a Facebook-based online media channel. This venture sparked his interest in digital communications and inspired him to gain a deeper understanding of social media platforms, audience engagement, and online content management.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Business Management from Buckinghamshire New University, United Kingdom.
